When Vanessa Waters, nanny to the Lambert family, is found stabbed to death during a party at the Lambert residence, Horatio and his team investigates the world of beautiful nannies and the unspoken services they provide to very wealthy families. The safe in the father’s, Dennis Lambert, office is subsequently robbed of $250,000 and we learn that his wife Kate secretly installed a camera in the office. The footage yields some seemingly unscrupulous footage of Dennis and Vanessa.

Horatio and his team arrive to the scene of the bloody murders of three gun smugglers. He discovers the weapon to be a rare and illegal electric gun known as “The Vaporizer,” able to fire over 100,000 rounds per minute. Horatio must not only find the killer, but he must also track down the gun before it is sold to the wrong people.
